Pelatihan Pembuatan Ecobrick: Upaya Penanggulangan Sampah Plastik di Desa Babakan, Kecamatan Bodeh, Kabupaten Pemalang

Abstract

Garbage is a very serious environmental problem in people's lives. Garbage can pollute the environment. Waste management is still a problem that has never been resolved in this country. This service activity aims to help the community to be able to take advantage of plastic waste and turn it into use value, so that it can help villages to reduce the population of plastic waste. The method used in this activity is a qualitative method with observation which is then carried out in the form of training, which consists of 3 stages, namely the preparatory stage, the implementation stage, and the final stage. The results show that this training can increase the knowledge of the children of Babakan Ecobrick Village with the process of making benches and tables. From the training that has been carried out, it has resulted in children's achievements in this activity through direct practice in the process of making ecobricks, children can take part in this activity properly and immediately understand what has previously been explained and exemplified by KKN students for children.
